If you still have doubts about how sustainable development will affect every business, the world's largest company, Wal-Mart, is requiring all their 100,000 suppliers to provide information about their environmental impacts.

This is to be followed up by a labeling scheme for all their customers to be able to see the sustainability index, that identifies environmental and social aspects, of all their products.
