Child Labour Action Plan

Decide the main priority for action regarding 'Child Labour'. (You may want to look again at the questions to decide which ones you would have prefered to answer differently.)

Training. You may find the following useful from ILO Training Resources to tackle Child Labour in Agriculture.

Set a target for improvement. Make yor chosen priority into a target. Your target should state specifically what you plan to achieve.

Be SMART! Make sure your target is:

Specific: People can relate to a target they understand.

Measurable: Measure against your current performance.

Agreed: People will participate if they agree with the target.

Realistic: - Set a challenging, but achievable target.

Trackable: Track all activities that contribute to the target.

Example of 'Child Labour Target

"That all those under 18 yrs old will be working towards a vocational qualification within 3 months"

Set a date to achieve target and when it is to be checked.

Make a list of the resources you need e.g. who resposible, labour, outside support, equipment

Enter your target, proposed achievement date and who will be responsible into the "Final Submission".
