No Discrimination
The Law

-There must be no discrimination at work on the grounds of sex, ethnic origin, race or religious belief.

-Equal pay must be given for equal value of work regardless of sex, ethnic origin, race or religious belief.

-Workers must not be dismissed if they become pregnant.

-Women have the right to return to their jobs after maternity leave.

-Women who are pregnant must not work in low temperatures or do heavy labour.

This means that:
There should be no discrimination between people in:
-hiring
-payment
-promotion
-training
-termination

Whether based upon:

-gender
-pregnancy or parenthood
-race
-national origin
-class
-age
-disability
-political affiliation
-union membership
-sexual orientation

All workers should receive the same payment for doing the same job.
