This online Toolkit helps suppliers to meet the requirements of the Co-op's Sound Sourcing system, which is based on the criteria required for Ethical Trading.

This e-Toolkit aims to:
  • Educate suppliers on Co-op Sound Sourcing Standards and Ethical Trade
  • Help suppliers meet Co-op Sound Sourcing Standards
  • Provide assurance to Co-op on Supply Chain Standards
  • Enable suppliers to submit self-assessment reports and action plans directly to the Co-operative Group

This e-Toolkit has materials to support suppliers, including a search engine, site map, guide, some 'webby' help, & answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). These are found in the support menu at the top of each screen. Within the toolkit there links to other appropriate sites, keeping information up to date, and providing you with all you need to know.

Before you begin working through the programme you need to:

1: Locate and save your unique Supplier Number - you need this number to complete self assessments for submission into the Co-op database.

2: Submit information about your company. You will be directed to a log-in screen where you enter your unique supplier number, this number is also your password. Complete the questions and submit your Company profile . You will be directed back to the toolkit.

3: Check out the on-line guide to see how it works.

4: Then you may begin your self assessment and action planning.
